On September 24, 2026, the executive team of Thonburi Thawiwatthana Hospital, led by Mr. Chalermkul Apibunyopas, Hospital Director, attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Royal Monument Plaza to pay tribute and express their deepest respect and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla.
Prince Mahidol of Songkla is revered as the “Father of Modern Medicine in Thailand” and the “Father of Thai Public Health” in recognition of his dedication and invaluable contributions to laying the foundations for and advancing the development of Thailand’s medical and public health systems.
