On September 21, 2026, Thonburi Thawiwatthana Hospital attended the award presentation ceremony after winning First Prize in the Comprehensive Waste Management Model Contest for Bangkok’s 50 Districts. The ceremony was held at the Irawat Phatthana Building, Bangkok City Hall, Din Daeng, and presided over by Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Governor of Bangkok.
This award represents another proud achievement for the hospital and reflects the commitment and collaboration of all staff in implementing systematic environmental management practices. These efforts include waste segregation, waste reduction, recycling and reuse of materials, as well as proper waste disposal in accordance with sanitation and environmental standards.
