On August 26, 2026, Thonburi Thawiwatthana Hospital welcomed the committee of the 2026 Comprehensive Waste Separation Competition for 50 Districts , organized by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), for a site visit and evaluation of the hospital’s waste separation and management practices. The visit and evaluation are part of an initiative to encourage organizations to implement systematic waste management, including proper waste separation, waste reduction, and the appropriate reuse of resources to help minimize environmental impact.
